AUTUMN IS IN THE AIR... KIND OF!

Slowly but surely,
Fall is arriving at our house.
The weather was in the 90's & glorious sunshiney again today...
it certainly doesn't feel like fall weather
but it is the end of September...
so time to start getting some of that Autumn stuff out!

I haven't done much yet.
I added a fall wreath to my front door...

It is big and gorgeous with leaves, pomegranate, pinecones and berries with some feathers and glitz mixed in.

I also put some sweet little wooden pumpkins on the landing.

I am working on a few things inside
decorating the mantle and a couple little
vignettes but they aren't picture ready just yet...

Sugared pumpkin , anyone?

My daughter and I trying to get a Halloween party planned...
so I am adding in a few more
'Halloween' decorations this year-
Fun!!!

I'll share the inside decor soon
I am perusing some magazines, blogs and catalogs for some great fall and Halloween decorating ideas- plus I am working on a few new project posts.

  3. Dear Courtney: Goodness ... you're still enjoying such beautiful weather. It's so very cool here these days and the leaves are all starting to change colour. It's a great show. The wreath on your front door is stunning. I love all the detail with the natural elements mingling with the glamour. And wherever did you get those adorable wooden pumpkins? Very cute and they'll last a lifetime. Can't wait for the indoor tour. Take care!
