Welcome to Feathered Nest Friday No. 9!!!
Well, I have been quite absent this week from visiting everyone’s blogs
and posting as much as I normally would…
I apologize..
I haven’t forgotten about all my friends in blogland!
I was visiting a couple of mice this week…
enjoying such fun together in the past few days…
Here’s where we have been…
The Happiest Place on Earth!!!
DISNEYLAND!
Ohh I just LOVE Disneyland!
beyond words really….the wonder, the magic, the Disney dreams…
I have been coming here since I was a little toddler and we have been bringing
our kids since they were little too.
I always feel like Disneyland is pure magic…we are kinda like what you might call Disney junkies. 🙂
Aside from the beach,
it is our go- to vacation spot and
we like to go when the holiday decorations are up.
Even though our kids are older now,
Even though our kids are older now,
they enjoy going and spending some time with Mickey
and so do we!!
I am so thankful we are fortunate to live close enough to go often
and that we are able to enjoy Disneyland.
Small World
decked out for Christmas
The Haunted Mansion transformed by Jack Skellington.
On top of all the magic and pixie dust that is sprinkled all over,
I love the decorating inspirations that are EVERYWHERE at Disneyland this time of year…
New Orleans Square~
My absolute FAVORITE spot at Disneyland..
full of garlands, glitz, glamour and fun
they really go all out with decorations
If you have ever been at Christmas time, you know… Disney brings it!!
I love to get inspirations for decorating the trees, or the rooms from their designs.
I snapped a few pictures of the inspirations I gathered up this week..
Beautiful!!!
On top of Mickey and Minnie~
we even found Santa!
The holiday fireworks are truly magical and finishes with a sprinkling of ‘snow’
I like the snow on Main Street much more than the real thing.
Speaking of the holidays, decorating and beautiful rooms-
I am planning a special FEATHERED NEST HOLIDAY PARTY coming up~
so get your decorating on!
more details coming soon!!!
Onto the party!!
Thank you so much to everyone who linked up last week!
I really enjoy visiting you and soaking up so much wonderful inspiration!!
Here are a few that stood out for me…
shared her cheery kitchen transformation~love the red accents!!
I am loving the purple and Bella displays hers beautifully.
Cottage Blessings shared Viola Bernice~
a vintage dress form that was inspired by her seamstress grandmother.
Love pieces with meaning attached to them.
Thank you so much to all of you who joined in the party last week!!
I so enjoy visiting your blogs, meeting new friends and love to see your posts!!!
Can’t wait to see what you have been up to this week!!
Just a few rules…
Link up an old post or a new post, doesn’t matter-
share what decorating inspration, find or project you would like to share this week!!
I would just LOVE it if you would decide to become a French Country Cottage Friend/Follower!
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE
make sure you post a link or a button to link back to my blog so that all the other party participants can be seen too
Go visit the other party goers – show them some love – meet new friends and get some new inspiration for feathering your nest!!
Let’s have fun!! It’s a party!
