PRETTY IN PINK

So pretty in pink...

The glorious sun has been out shining for a couple of days
bringing the warmth that dozens of little flower buds have been waiting for.

Our Camellia tree is bursting with blooms of pretty pink flowers.

I couldn't resist picking a basket full this morning
and into a silver champagne bucket they went.

Soft velvety petals in beautiful shades of pinks
make a lovely bouquet on the sideboard
I love the dainty pale blossoms against the tarnished silver

Just gorgeous.

I adjusted the highlights and backgrounds on some of these photos
and softened the edges.

  17. Pink camellias, what could be more feminine? They look perfectly lovely in your silver goblet. I've been thinking of putting together some sort of silver themed inspiration post. Maybe you wouldn't mind if I included this post of yours? Will probably be Monday or Tuesday. And thanks Courtney for your very sweet comment. I have to admit I was surprised and just couldn't be more flattered. xo Diane

  18. I really like the gorgeous shade of pink roses with the silver. SO I am wondering if I might also like pink and gray. I am trying to decide on how to decorate our art studio. Hmmmmmmmm.......pink and pale gray might just be the ticket!!! Thanks for the inspiration, Courtney!

  19. Your camellias look so beautiful! The color just pops right out from that pretty silver bucket. When I was in Florida I visited a botanical garden that was full of camellias. It was gorgeous.

  21. Hi Courtney! The house I grew up in had dozens of Camellia bushes in the back yard. They have always been one of my favorite flowers. Yours are so pretty in the silver bucket.

  22. How wonderful to already have flowers blooming like this! We are just getting our tiny crocuses to come up! They were ducking for cover with the forecast for a foot of snow... luckily, it didn't come!
    *happy weekend to you*
