VINTAGE SAILING ART

Billowing old white sails catch the sea winds as the sun sets on the ocean.

An old weathered clipper ships tall stately lines & painted construction
brings thoughts of old sailors and pirates spending days at sea in the salty air.

There is something so beautiful and endearing about these beautiful old ships

I found this gorgeous canvas art online at Gallery Direct
and ordered it as a Fathers day gift.

I wanted something that would appeal to a man but would
also work in a vintage cottage inspired setting.

Seaside & nautical remnants & old sailing and ship vintage art
always catch my eye while perusing flea markets
and my husband loves pieces with history and patriotism.
This antique inspired clipper ship with the American flag
waving proudly in the breeze was perfect.
The colors and details in this piece are wonderful
and the traditional black wood frame
compliments it perfectly.

This gorgeous piece arrived well packaged and in just a few days after ordering ,
I was placing my new artwork on the wall.
So beautiful.

I was provided artwork as compensation for my review but my opinion is my own.

  17. This reminds me of artwork I saw in Boston this past week, Courtney! The Museum of Fine Arts has an amazing display of large model ships that the British commissioned before going forward with building the real ship. Really neat stuff!
