I dream of traveling to Paris…
Shopping the brocantes & collecting treasures and bits along the way
traveling through the countryside, staying in an elegant French hotel
or maybe a little country house…
speaking the language perfectly of course 🙂
and living a French life for a little while
So when I found this dainty ornament of the Eiffel Tower (at Target)
with a ‘Wish‘ sash tied to the top it was *LOVE*
and it had to come home with me.
I love the vintagey brassy gold color.
The wee little champagne glittered trees (also Target) are
‘picks’ that would go into an arrangement or your tree to add a bit of pizazz
but I flipped them upside down and saw tiny wispy gold trees
and knew just where they would go perfectly.
I was inspired by Anthropologie’s darling little mason jar snow globes
(which have been copy catted all over the blogs!)
One of the wee gold trees sits quietly inside a jar covered with glistening snow.
Loving these and am making several variations
to give as gifts this year
so I will be sharing more of them soon.
Adding a few silver ornaments & a silver creamer for a tree stand
Darling for a little tabletop display or
for bringing a bit of Christmas cheer to a cupboard.

I have always liked snowglobes and tiny scenes in jars. It's like a treasure box of visual goodies. I, too, have this Eiffel ornament that a local shell artist embellished.

I so love the Eiffel Tower under the cloche. I must have a look in Target to see if I can get one. I have a friend who has a birthday coming up and I know she adores Paris. I thought this would make a nice gift with some handmade tea light candle holders I make with small glasses and diamond dust. Thank you for the inspiration.
