reflecting on a fun filled trip with great memories and new friends.
Just a few days earlier, I hopped on a plane headed to NYC for a couple of days for the
Annual HomeGoods Blogger day
If you follow me over on Instagram~ you know some of what was going on
but here’s a little recap
I arrived in the evening on Wednesday and headed over to check into the Gansevoort Hotel
and then met up with the other California bloggers who had arrived that evening as well.
Joan and Cathy felt like they were long lost friends by the time we were done eating
and we made plans to meet (not too early) in the morning for breakfast.
and so the three of us headed out to explore the city.
We walked and walked and walked and laughed and laughed and laughed.
Between kicking our heels up in Times Square
(yes, we were falling over as we were laughing)
enjoying NY style pizza for lunch
we had so much fun.
Seriously, I could have sat there and stared at the gorgeous architecture and details for hours.
chatting and laughing. They are a FUN group for sure and it was so nice to be able to meet
in person and really get to know them. One of the other bloggers
you might know is Inspired By Charm
The next day was Blogger Day with HomeGoods where
They have done an amazing job on the new design!
We all enjoyed a delicious lunch, then had our headshot photos taken for the blog (yikes!)
and then there was a little surprise for us.
The incredible Grace Bonney of Design Sponge was their guest speaker
The blogger day was fantastic~ super inspiring, filled with info & exciting ~
I can hardly wait to start blogging with HomeGoods.
After we wrapped up the day- it just so happened to be the three of us crazy California girls
so of course, we ended the trip with lots of laughter too.
More details to come about the new blog as it gets closer to it’s launch this Spring for now,
an extra morning to sleep in on Monday!
Hope your weekend is going great!!
Feathered Nest Friday is going on all weekend long~

I adore visiting NYC and have been there many times – but have never been to their library. Need to put that on a bucket list now!
Glad you had a fun and safe trip.
It's exciting to read about your being on HG's blogger team, you deserve that, indeed.

How fun! Thank you SO much for sharing photos from your trip, including the nice ones of you! 🙂 I feel like I was there. It looks carefree and happy. I especially LOVE the Baroque-style ceiling at the library. Creating Baroque sky in my painting is my goal for this year…and then you show it on your blog. Gorgeous!
