Sometimes you find something that you love in an unexpected place.
Something that yells vintage to you with it’s perfect 1940’s green color and it’s construction
Something that you know you love the minute you see it even if at that moment you find it
it is covered in old dust, oil and crusty rusty bits

A couple weeks ago I shared the mini refresh that I gave the office
and promised more information about that little green vintage goodness in the corner.
This little treasure was sitting in the garage/shop when bought our house
where it was holding old cans of oil, little tools, piles of rusty nails
and lots and lots of old layers of dust.

and lots and lots of old layers of dust.
Even so, I loved it- especially it’s vintage color and all those cute little cubbies even
though they were stained and worn.
though they were stained and worn.
So I had to clean it up as best I could and bring it inside.
Though some of the cubbies have a lot of damage that couldn’t be cleaned up all the way
it works and will be perfect for my office/catch-all/project area to hold smaller items like rolls of ribbon, & jars and baskets or inspiring books on the bottom.
You gotta love a little cubby in a room! 😉

Since it’s a bit more rustic than the rest of my office area-
I love that little bit of an unexpected element that it brings.

Love your treasure! I also learned that our kitchen is from the 40's not the 50's, due to the green color, thanks for that tidbit about the green shade.

Hi Courtney!!
I love that green as well!! The cubbie holes are amazing for holding stuff. I find that green is a great color in a room, even if it's the only object in the room that is green. You'll wonder how you survived without it this long.
Have a great week!!!
