I can hardly believe that it is already the day before Thanksgiving!
The month of November has really flown by it seems.
In getting ready for Thanksgiving
a lot of cooking and cleaning is on the agenda and if you are like me
you are also thinking about the table setting.
I thought that I would grab a few favorite table setting elements
that you can put together quickly
as in at the last minute the day before Thanksgiving to share today.
Chunky wood chargers.
I love different types of chargers- like chunky slices of wood.
simple, inexpensive and so charming
A favorite for sure is mixing rustic and elegance- like this
Layered with a burlap tablecloth, elegant platinum edged china and dainty stemware- love.
A simple centerpiece
A simple centerpiece is easy and perfect and doesn’t have to be expensive-
especially for Thanksgiving.
Head outdoors to look for inspiration and clip a few branches from your yard
and place them in the center of the table by themselves
or mix them with roses or your choice of flowers from the market
in this outdoor setting
Group together some of those leftover pumpkins with pinecones
or even just a few jars filled with blooms is perfect for the center or for place setting bouquets.
No matter what you decide to do with your table setting to make it special
it will be perfect for spending time with family and friends while giving thanks
for all the blessings we have in our lives.
Wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving!
*Feathered Nest Friday will be up this evening for anyone
who would like to join in.*

Simply elegant. It looks effortless, which is the point, but those of us who strive for such beauty in our homes know that it takes work and lots of it. But of course, we enjoy the result, which is why we put forth all that effort.
