Ticking stripes & pale blue

This past weekend, it was all about details over here.

I have been planning Autumn decor and Christmas decor
along with lots of ideas and vignettes for upcoming collaborations
and it truly is the details that make something stand out.

Like the scalloped edging on a plate or the perfectly faded color
of ticking stripes on oatmeal linen
or the charming color on a pitcher mingling with sweet Summer florals.

A couple of weeks ago,
I shared an outdoor brunch table setting that I collaborated with Birch Lane on.

It was a favorite of mine this season -you can read the post here if you missed it.
I mentioned there were a couple things missing from my table
that I would be sharing very soon
and these pieces in this quiet vignette with the pretty pale blue
and soft ticking stripes~are those things.

A gorgeous ticking stripe table cloth in a beautiful oatmeal linen
and the most delightful pale blue pitcher that seriously is giving my white pitchers
a run for their money.

This is actually 2 tablecloths put together since our outdoor table is a little on the extra long size
but can we talk about those.stripes?

Especially when they are paired with creamy white scalloped dishes?
I love them.
Add in this perfect chunky pitcher

that takes center stage because it is huge
and it is perfection.

When I pulled this pitcher out of the box and saw that tint of pale blue

well, I was in love
and knew instantly that it would become a new favorite.

It is perfect for holding an oversized bouquet of peach pretties
and warming up a simple
late Summer outdoor table vignette.

In September it is warm in California and I embrace the Summer
season as long as I can.
I have a couple more outdoor table settings and inspirations in the works
for those Autumn dinner parties
and you can bet that some of these pieces will be making an appearance in them.

If you would like to order any of the pieces I shared- you can find them here:

The blue pitcher looks white when ordering- it is actually a pale blue
but you cannot tell on the product page.
I asked my contact and this is the only color they carry.

Happy Tuesday.

I was compensated to share my Birch Lane treasures with you but all opinions are my own.

    1. Thank you Debbie!! Actually, I thought I was ordering a white one as well- but it is actually a pale blue and not white. It's super hard to tell from the photo- because it definitely looked white to me over at Birch Lane as well- but I asked and this pale color is the only one they carry. I am in love with it- and was pleasantly surprised when I saw it was blue. :)

    1. Hi Cathy!

Sorry about that- it looks like it wasn't being carried any longer maybe. I updated the link to a pitcher that is the same and is in stock. Hope that helps!
