Sunset Celebration Weekend

Last weekend, I spent a few fun filled and inspiring days
gathering inspirations for home & garden,
playing tourist

and simply being inspired by all the beauty
at the Sunset Celebration Weekend.

It is always wonderful to work with GMC and I was thrilled that they asked me come along with them to an event where the pages of Sunset Magazine come to life.

Sunset Magazine is a magazine all about the West Coast.
From food, to travel to camping, glamping, home and garden-
and it is headquartered right here in the bay area of California
so it was just a hop, skip and a jump for me to get there.

I enjoyed catching up with old friends and meeting new friends from
Sunset, GMC and Time Inc.
and I was inspired pretty much the entire time.
This setting...

Lights in the trees, fire pits to sit by
and a delicious spread of amazing food to enjoy.

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous.
Such a fun and beautiful way to kick off the 3 day event.

The next day- it was all about the event.
Home, Garden, Food, Wine, Travel, you name it.

From tasting California and West Coast wines

to travel inspirations and trip ideas
to outdoor living
 and garden ideas

to new GMC's.

Sunset Celebration weekend was filled with tons of fun.
I might have done a little shopping and brought home those olive topiaries too.
( they are from Monrovia for those of you who have asked)

The next day, we went back over to the event for a few hours to tour a very small
house with an eco friendly garden.
Any guesses as to how big this house is?

It may be tiny, but the tiny kitchen was a tiny little dream.

It was absolutely adorable.
And the whole house was just
 400 square feet
but packed with a lot of pizazz.

and an eco friendly garden area.

After that- we were off to SF for the rest of the day to play tourist.
Several of the girls had never been to SF before
and so we toured around and hit as many of the tourist stops
as we could and laughed hysterically pretty much the entire time.

Loved this at Fisherman's Wharf

The cable cars

That somewhat famous Golden Gate bridge ;) as seen from Sausalito

That Denali took us everywhere.

We also stopped at FB headquarters( in Palo Alto) , Pinterest HQ and even Twitter.
Hey, a social media team and bloggers?
You know we had to do it.

That night back at the event
was the most amazing setting for a dinner.
I think I took 30 photos. Seriously. It was gorgeous.

From the beautiful food

An abundance of candles

flickering to light the room

the flowers

Table after table after table that was just beautiful

and it was definitely straight out of the pages of a magazine.

It was a super fun 3 days with GMC and Sunset Magazine
and the event might be inspiring me to incorporate some of their ideas at our home as well.
I can hardly wait for the next one!

But for now, I am off to work on something 'wedding' inspired...
and it is coming your way next week.
Stay tuned!

Happy Wednesday everyone
