Friday Crush- Summer Entertaining

I am covered in grout.
Loads of it.
Like my shoes weighed an extra 5 lbs each when I took them off last night.

BUT. A great leg workout and the bathroom is looking amazing.
And we will have another usable bathroom again very.very. soon.
Which is pretty darn exciting if you ask me.

So I am sharing something simple for your Friday crush post today.
And it has nothing to do with tile, mortar or grout

I did not get my photos wrapped before I got covered in said grout.
So I am sharing a look back at favorite summer table styling
and a favorite recipe any time of the year
 but especially in summer-
a spinach and fruit salad.

I always enjoy setting a beautiful table-
but sometimes the table just really fits me
 or the occasion.
This table was one of my favorites.

That rustic weathered tabletop
crisp white dishes
and the gleam of those copper mugs... sigh.

I loved that it was so simple
and approachable and that it let nature take center stage.

From the branches clipped from the apple tree as a centerpiece
to simple flatware and pink roses.
(okay those blueberry muffins were amazing too)

I would love to be sitting here
sipping on a glass of wine and relaxing right about now.

And enjoying one of my favorite salads as well.
a spinach & fresh fruit salad.
You might say I am one of those types of people who eat their spinach every day.
 I love it.
I also love blueberries, strawberries and feta cheese.
Oh and those candied nuts... yeah, I could probably eat those by themselves.
(don't leave a bag of them around)
But all those yummy things combined?
Well, they play amazingly well together.

For my favorite salad recipe that is easy  & healthy
 you can find it here
And find a few tips on hosting a perfect get together in summer-

Coming your way next week-
a simple and sweet summer mantel styling that will transition perfectly into fall and
a little peek at a new chandelier that is rocking my world right about now.

Phew! I think that is it for today.
And I am off to get back to work on a little more tiling.
