Weekend top 5

Happy 4th of July everyone!

We are enjoying a quiet 4th over here this year-
no big parties or celebrations- but I'm pretty sure that colorful red, white and blue dessert
 is always a good idea.

It is that time for the week in re-cap ~
and sharing some of those random things that happened

and thoughts that float into my mind.

1. What did she say?

Like why did Siri decide the explanation for what 0 divided by 0 is
and why does it have anything to do with Cookie Monster?

A fun thing my sister sent my way this week-if you haven't asked Siri yet-
ask her what 0 divided by 0 is for the reply.

2. Hiking Lake Tahoe

From the beach to the mountains ~ we road tripped up in to the mountains
this week for a quick getaway in Tahoe.
It was beautiful weather in the 70's with a  little sun, and a little rain which was unexpected but fantastic and made for a very refreshing break from the near 100 degree heat for the past week.
The next morning- we got up early and went for a 3 hour hike on the Tahoe Rim Trail before heading back home-  a beautiful way to start the day.

3. Going Coastal

I'm working on something a little coastal today- and these are some of the props.
Star fish, rope and is for a holiday coming up in a bit
but it might not be for what you think. Will share more in a couple weeks.

4.  Girls Trip

I am working ahead and gearing up for a fun girls trip with my daughter & sister.
The last time the three of us trekked on a trip was a few years ago- so this one is majorly overdue.
It is basically the girls, the open road, and a whole lot of fun.

You can follow me along on instagram if you like- at
where I will be sharing snaps and crazy outtakes
(which there are sure to be a lot of!)

That is it-
just 4 random things for the 4th today~
the 5th is- Happy 4th of July!

Have a safe celebration everyone!
