Simple Spring touches and Giveaway with HomeGoods

The windows and doors have been open, the sun shining brightly
and the warm air feels like spring has arrived this week.

And I am so excited.  Spring ushers in more than warm sunshine, fresh air and pretty little blooms.
It inspires a fresh new look in the house as well- and today it is also inspiring a FUN giveaway!

While I haven't had a chance to add spring touches in all of the house yet,
I have sprinkled a bit of that charm in a couple of rooms.
And today I am joining my  HomeGoods family and sharing the spring that
is appearing.

It all started with blush. And florals. And candles. And kitchen elements.
And nubby fabrics and chunky baskets. And....
And... okay- you know how it is at HomeGoods- you go in for a handful of things
and come out with a cartful of things you didn't realize you needed.
It happens to me all the time. And I love it.

:)
Basically, a few sprinkles here and there in the house- starting with the bedroom.
I wanted to add just a few things in the bedroom to warm up the look for spring.
And these blush pillows landed in my cart.
They are a woven silk and are so incredibly soft- and the color is just perfectly warm enough.

On the settee, they add a bit of charm- but they will find their way onto the bed for a fresh look.
Speaking of the bed, remember I shared recently that I have become a linen hoarder?
I have. And I have no shame.

I loaded the bed with a long ruffled white bedspread and a fresh floral duvet cover and then topped it with a waffle texture matelasse bedspread that has the most charming crochet and ruffled edges.

Confession...
I might have brought home that chunky bedspread in 3 colors.
Maybe.

Okay I did.

They are such gorgeous pieces to layer on the bed and sofa to wrap up in
and the price at HomeGoods can't be beat.

And did you know that Rachel Ashwell now has a Prairie line at HomeGoods?
Yes- and it is soo pretty.

On the nightstand- that blue and white pottery speaks to my traditional side.
I fill it with ever changing blooms- like these stock which smell amazing.
And I bumped into this chunky metal beaded bit and fell in love with the worn patina and soft color.
This is actually a fairly large strand of beads and is pretty heavy-

I kept it simple on the mantel in here with a couple new containers filled with pretty blooms
mingling with a few vintage elements.

And these containers? Covered in charming beads and pretty little details....
and they have a secret.

Yes, I found them in the kitchen aisle and they are on the shelves in the kithen
when they aren't on the mantel.
I have to say- I love the play with the Flour container holding flowers.
;)

I added another piece of that gorgeous  blue and white to the coffee table.

I mixed up the throw pillows and added a charming little bit also from the kitchen department
that I am using a vase

As well, I picked up a few more chunky willow baskets for firewood.
This one is tall and charming- and I found it it 2 sizes- which means- you will be seeing it in another spot as well.
I am obsessed and every single time I find them on the shelves at HomeGoods-
 I bring them home.

And I also brought home some gorgeous tableware for an inspired
 table in the greenhouse.

And hint... this table has a secret.
You can see more here on the HomeGoods blog.
