Weekend View

It's the weekend...

and April 1st.And Easter.

I hope everyone is having a beautiful blessed day whatever you are up to today.
Just a few notes for the weekend view this weekend.

This week was full of last minute photo chaos with a few projects,
a few long walks in the sunshine
and a whole lot of spring cleaning.

In a Tahoe state of mind...

This week, I am off for a trek up into the mountains and through the woods... off to pick up my daughter and bring her home to visit and help out on some projects around here this week. I always love to drive up through the mountains and smell that mountain air. There is a certain smell to the air about the Donner Lake point... and that smell brings a flood of memories that say
 'Tahoe'
'summer vacations'
'Skiing'
and fun days exploring the lake.

Stay tuned for some travel snaps on ig because I can't ever seem to drive through the mountains without stopping for a few snaps here and there.
Though... it might be a bit more 'white' this time of year with the recent winter weather and snowfall.

HomeGoods Giveaway

This week, the 6 HomeGoods bloggers got together to do a fun $600 HomeGoods gift Card giveaway.  6 bloggers sharing spring decor ideas, and each giving away a $100 gc. Talk about a party! And who wouldn't like to do some shopping and get a little HomeGoods happy? If you missed the post- you can find it here and don't forget to click through to enter on each blog.

Calistoga dreaming

I am planning another jaunt up to that sleepy little wine country town at the top of the Napa Valley... and in case you missed it- in this months issue of Romantic Homes Magazine- you can find a feature on one of my favorite places to stay-  Cottage Grove Inn. And bonus- they are dog friendly. Which means the Pea can come with us.

See you soon for some
garden planning and chicken coop ideas
and an inspired table setting.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday and Easter.
