It’s summer and that means lots of sunshine, hot days and warm evenings
and if you are like us- evenings out under the stars.
It is no secret that I love to set the mood with twinkle lights and candles anytime of the year but summer just seems to invite it even more.
I am excited to be joining my farmhouse friends who are sharing summer inspiration today as well.
And with the 4th of July just around the corner- I wanted to share a few of my favorite tips for adding ambiance for outdoor entertaining.
For this table- I used just a few things to set the mood- twinkle lights, copper and fairy light filled cloches.
For a unique centerpiece- I used fairy light cloches and candles to add that twinkle on the table.
I placed the cloches in copper pots for a little extra oomph with that warm copper glow. Since these are battery operated- they are easy to place into a pot or nestled into greenery.
Echo the copper with glasses- like these martini glasses that are copper on bottom. And the copper tumblers. Copper is a natural mix and mingle with greenery and blush- and it looks even more beautiful scattered on the table with twinkle lights.
Beautiful blooms – always a must on my table. Gathered up some sweet peas from our yard and a few peonies in to create a beautiful foraged bouquet.
Of course, we can’t forget those candles and twinkle lights. Tucking a few small candles in between your flowers on the table to add that flicker is another way to bring that warm glow. Guests will appreciate that too- because warm candle glow is flattering. 🙂
And these twinkle lights are game changers. They are Edison style string lights- and are LED so you can forget about them alllll night long and not worry about the power bill going crazy. Plus they are cool to the touch.
More coming to my blog about how to hang those string lights -and this was a styling I did for Balsam Hill
And don’t miss ANY of these gorgeous summer stylings from my friends-
they are incredible.
Happy Monday everyone!

I love candles and lights. I do not have fairy lights, but I think I will have to buy some. I love how you did them, also like the edison lights.

I love your outdoor ideas, especially these for under the stars! I have a few sets of the mini twinkle lights I got on sale at Target and I've been at a loss to best display them. Thanks so much for the inspiration!
