Flocked pine garland with pinecones and twigs
lay atop the mantle in our living room.

It was a starting point for the mantle this year~
usually I use this garland on my bedroom mantle but I wanted a change.
Large rich plum, white & silver glass balls mixed in with
dainty vintage white spun flea find ornaments
A couple of large mercury glass gazing balls that were a recent Home Goods find
and those little silver trees
add some sparkle
while frosted berry topiaries from Smith & Hawken (Ross finds)
bring some warmth to the snowy look.
I bought this large flocked wreath several years ago on clearance after the holidays.
Usually, this wreath would go above my bedroom mantle but
this year, it hangs in front of a large, carved antique mirror in the living room.
I added in a few ornaments to it as well.
I love how the rich elegant plum mingles with the frosted white snowy branches.
A pair of large cast iron urns filled with lavender sit at each end...

I love having the lavender in the house this time of year.
It is one of my favorite plants and the silvery sage color and faded purple blooms
are so perfect for the mantle's look this year.
Here's what it looked like- I don't even know when this was taken... but awhile ago..
Here it is now, all decorated for the Holidays!
That's it for now.
I am tweaking it a bit as usual... I am so behind this year on my decorating.
I've been having a
bit of a hard time finding my groove and getting going on some of these projects...
but I am working on it!!
My new motto for now...
Loving that motto...
So much to do-
so working on a little bit at a time...
I will be sharing my bedroom tree and mantle soon!
Hope all is well with you and yours~
Happy Tuesday everyone!
Feathered Nest Friday Holiday party~ Linky up on Thursday evening- hope to see you there!

Your lighting came out fantastically. I find it pretty hard to take photos of those fairy light-type-things.
