Maybe it’s Valentines day and sweet reds and pinks popping up everywhere…
Maybe it’s the sweet flower bouquets my husband brings…
or maybe I just felt like some color in the faded
landscape of winter…Whatever the reason,
I decided to change the wall above the sideboard in the dining area.
I was in a bit of a hurry to get things all done today and didn’t get everything finished yet…
but, here it is so far~
A large oil painted floral takes center stage
surrounded with some of my red transferware from the kitchen & silver plates
Two galvanized troughs filled with some of the hydrangeas from the bedroom
and some of those gorgeous green hydrangeas that my friend Leslie sent to me a few months back~
I love lime green and these hydrangeas are THE best color!
A vintage metal tiered stand holds colorful champagne grapes
and is lined with an old coffee sack found at a thrift store.
Working on the finishing touches…
but am loving it so far.
On a side note~ I just signed up for a Facebook page for my blog-
I have no idea how to use Facebook ! Lol!!
If you are on Facebook and have any tips or hints on how to work with it-
would appreciate them! There is a little badge on the side for it.

Wow! That's a stunning vignette, Courtney! I know what you mean about seeing a little red in the house for February. I don't know about you, but I never decorated my house for Valentine's Day before, but this year I've been bringing in a bit of red and even bought a vintage-looking wooden red heart. 🙂 Such an influence my blogging friends have on me…. lolol!
I love your metal tiered stand with the coffee sack. Very vintage and rustic! 🙂
