I have always loved the look of an old library or study.

A little room surrounded in floor to ceiling bookcases, beautiful old books and treasures.
With an old reading table covered with your latest books, magazines
and inspirations.

Our old round dining table moved to the far side of the living room
and found a new spot in front of one of the windows

The chandelier hanging above lights up the evenings with it's warm glow
while sunshine streaming in through the window during the day
fills the room with little reflections from it's prisms.

This delightful chicken wire topiary planter was a recent Ben Franklin find.
The wirey construction and charm remind
me of my sweet friend Erin over at Peony Wire Works

A vintage vase filled with a bouquet of pretty pink roses &
white carnations from my sweets
bring a bit of garden charm inside with their blooms...

while a stack of gorgeous books calls to me to come
sit and gather up some inspirations.
