I love the sweet pale green
of these vintage bottles
A soft opaque barely there color
that reminds me of bits of worn sea glass
that washes up on the shore
This petite inkwell is a most lovely pale blue…
so pretty paired with the pink of a camellia blossom
and the silver of the vintage pewter plate.
So excited to find 4 pewter plates ~
they will be wonderful hanging on the wall or at the table.
Such pretty green stripes with the pale creamy color on this vintage linen~
it was the bargain of my thrift store finds at .25 cents.
~
I tried some sepia tones on a couple photos this week.
Hope you all had a wonderful Blessed Easter!
Our extended family was in different areas this year
so instead of a big gathering ~
it was a quiet celebration of Easter blessings.
Bunny pancakes (with chocolate chip eyes),
egg hunts, & Easter dinner
🙂

Those old bottles are very sweet. I collect them too. The old apothecary and perfume bottles are my favorite. Hope you had a nice holiday.

Very pretty!! I really need to start hitting the thrifts again and see if I have any luck. My last few trips were pretty disappointing, but if you don't look you'll never find, right? Love your bottles and plates both!

I would love to paint one of those images. I have been painting lots of glass lately, and it would be fun to paint some glass with barely-there color! Pretty! I like your linens, too. Great post!

I have a great little bottle I found in the countryside in Vietnam while digging a dish during a house building project. I cherish it. We think the area where I was digging might have once been an outhouse.

I love vintage bottles! My husband had some weird kind of hot sauce that I was antsy for him to finish because I wanted the bottle. He finally finished it and I washed the labels off and put lavender in it, it really is cute!

So far I've been a good girl, since I have so many different collections I stop myself but it's getting harder, especially when I see your pretty photos.
