Beautiful sunshine was
peeking through the trees this morning…
It’s warm rays waking the world ever so quietly.
I love the smell of the world outside after rain…
the clean fresh air and the sun warming the plants…
It’s invigorating and inspiring.
These fluffy blooms were drooping quite a bit ~ weighed down with rain.
So I clipped a few branches for a dreamy bouquet.
I am not a fan of snow, as you know…
but I do love these kinds of snowballs!
Perfect with the antique mirror on the bedroom mantle
and so charming on the french inspired
bistro chairs on the patio.
They are wonderful inspiration for Summer decorating changes.
I just ordered a couple new design books…
can’t wait to peruse their pages
and share some inspirations!

Courtney- Those are beautiful "snowballs". I love them…my Mother had a big "snowball" bush that spread and was huge. It was my favorite plant on the farm…well, right AFTER the lilacs!;>) xo Diana

Oh, my snowballs are on their last leg! 🙁 I'll just admire yours since the only enjoyment of them at my house currently consists of my daughter picking up the petals from the ground and throwing them in the air, "It's snowing Mommy!"
Your arrangements look gorgeous and gave me a few ideas for next year!

Your table looks lovely and the burlap was a great idea. The only burlap I have is on our Christmas tree as garland (it came in a roll.) I have yet to find the popular kind in a fabric store here, so your idea of the coarser weave at the home center is something I may just pick up.
