I just love little antique fireplaces.
They are just perfect to tuck into a tiny little bedroom
a wee spot in the kitchen
or even in your bathroom~ what an indulgence!

I found this dainty charmer last year on craigslist when I purchased a set of
Swedish antique furniture for $200.
This old cast iron surround and mantel mirror were included
and I absolutely love them.

Originally, they were painted a delft blue color that didn't really fit the colors in my house
so I knew that this little guy would get a little transformation before
it found a perfect spot in my home.

I have been painting away...
but it's been such a crazy couple of weeks,
it's not quite share worthy yet.
But I'll share it in it's new home soon!
Welcome to Feathered Nest Friday!
Here are just a few highlights from last weeks party!
I have also been highlighting on my facebook page & twitter through out the weekend
