There's just something about a little table and chairs set up outside
I love smelling the fresh air and
being surrounded by greenery & pretty flowers in bloom.

This chippy old iron dining table is about to get a makeover.
It's the one I purchased in the spring and had under my pergola when it collapsed.
So the glass top is missing a section that broke, but thankfully the set didn't have any other damage.
I have been contemplating a new glass top, but have a different idea
that I hope to get done this week.
So for now, it is draped in burlap and sits in the yard near
my weathered picket fence with a couple of chairs.

A chippy old wooden bench
an antique birdcage that was a SA find
and a some fresh picked roses and hydrangea blooms.

Such a sweet somewhere to have a seat in the evening,
and enjoy a glass of wine and dessert.
Do you ever feel like you have a never ending list of projects and things to check off?
I have so many projects on my list right now... I am working on notching one off at a time...
and then hopefully I will have a bunch of new posts lined up to share!
Hope you all had a great weekend! :)

ReplyDeleteCourtney,
ReplyDeleteSuch pretty scenery. Wine country... fun! That bird cage is great find. I actually swoop up cages when I can see them. Eventually they will find a purpose. It's so nice to be going into GW and SA here in the Lower 48; amazing prices and great stuff. Keep me in mind if you decide to part with your cage. The table is gorg too!
Blessings,
Shanna

Nothing beats an outdoor dinning! During the summer when my son is out of school, I love to make homemade chicken salad and while we don't have such a wonderful setup as yours, we will take a blanket outside and eat our lunch. He loves it and now my 3 y.o. is getting the idea too!
ReplyDeletePretty. I can see myself relaxing and unwinding after a busy day..
ReplyDeleteMy list... oh yes. Hardly any checking off of late as I have been dealing with some pressing matters . This too shall pass and I will get back inot he swing of things and my list will have more checks.
Cheers,
Gee
