Last year I wrote a post for New Years called
It really summed up 2011 so well for me and how I felt.
It’s a new year- a fresh start. I love that.
It’s a time to reflect and look back and also look ahead
Like most years, 2012 had it’s ups and downs and brought changes
Not just in remodeling projects and makeover changes~ though it did bring a few of those too.
It brought changes and growth on my blog and in my personal life too
It was a wonderful year for so many reasons
and it showed me that taking steps no matter how big or small
help get you where you are going.
I feel blessed in so many ways and this past year has made me believe more than ever
that even if you aren’t sure just what you are supposed to be doing
or where you are supposed to be
It’s a time to reflect and look back and also look ahead

that even if you aren’t sure just what you are supposed to be doing
or where you are supposed to be
if you simply start taking steps in a direction – you just might find yourself
at a place where you are meant to be.
at a place where you are meant to be.
In 2013~ I am planning to continue following my heart & chasing my dreams
I am planning on taking more baby steps and taking some bigger steps too
I am looking forward to the new year with it’s new possibilities and new opportunities to sail.
I am going to dream bigger and reach for the stars and see where takes me.
I encourage you to do the same and I’m looking forward to seeing
all that you are up to- I know it will be an amazing year!
I want to thank each of you for taking the time to come over to read my blog,
share my world, encouraging me and following me along.
A blog is much more than just a journal written by one~ the people who come by
and leave a comment or join a party or simply say hello
& the friends I have met
are a huge part of my blog and help to make it what it is.
I appreciate each of you and thank you for reading and supporting me.

I thought your reference to "What about Bob" was so funny because several members of my family and close friends are always quoteing some of Bob's lines. And lol. Love the beauty you bring to us. Happy 2013!

Love your blog and this post was especially meaningful. Yes, sometimes just baby steps are what is needed to get some movement going because sometimes we get stuck. This year I'm taking huge gigantic steps! I made the decision to retire from my job of 18 years at a large university to go back to school at age 57! I also plan to inject more creativity into my life and take more risks! I'll have to check out that movie you mentioned. Here's to a fabulous year for all! Even the bumps along the journey are necessary to grow and stretch our character. When we look back we see that it was all good!

Happy new year Courtney! Haven't seen the moveie but will have to now. I want to thank you for sharing your beautiful blog. I know it's gotta be hard to find the time to do on top of having a family and tackling so many remodeling and refreshing projects that have made your home so gorgeous. I don't know how you do it but I'm glad you do because I look forward to every post. Thank you thank you! Know though that people have to rest too and if you decide to we would completely understand and be there when you come back. Leslie
