Lately, I have been getting my ‘
French Farmhouse’
on a bit.
French Farmhouse’
on a bit.
I have been drawn to some of the more simple accents in a room.
A chunky basket atop the armoire.
A collection of old jars and bottles on a shelf
a stack of charming grain sacks
or a collection of bread boards in the kitchen.
While I was in High Point
Kim from Savvy Southern Style, Kristen from Sophia’s Decor and Shirley from Housepitality Designs
and I shopped a couple of the vintage and reproduction shops

and oh yes,
we oohed and ahhed over all the pretties we found.

I loved these reproduction vintage bread boards and the price was amazing
I imagined them set on a table with fruits and veggies
for serving delightful little treats at dinner parties
and for simply stacking in the kitchen or on a bench for their charm.
But what I couldn’t imagine was how I was going to get them on the plane.
In my carry on suitcase.
Shirley graciously offered to ship them back to me~
but luckily, High Point Market had a UPS and FED EX shipping center
right there inside the building

the prices in High Point were incredible
and I probably would have found a few more things that needed to come home with me.

I am working on a couple different things this weekend
and a project with these pretty blue mason jars.
Have you picked any of these up yet?
I am loving adding that little bit of blue to some of the vignettes.
Hope your weekend is going great!
Happy Sunday!

Love your Bread Boards, unfortunately I only have one. I picked up a 6 pack of blue Mason Jars by Ball and I also won one from
Sweet Magnolia Farms on her give away. I am debating on what to use them for. Some water glasses and a couple of vases.
Can hardly wait to see what you do with them.
Have a great Memorial Day.

Your photos are always so lovely! Where do you get your lovely roses?! Do you have them growing in your garden or do you have a great shop that carries them?
Courtney says
Hi Jill!!
I do grow some roses but these are from the grocery store- a $4 bunch of spray roses. 🙂
