It’s true… though I love lots of gilding and pieces covered in elegant details
I have such an affinity for the simplest of things sometimes
Like a vintage fireplace mantel decorated with
mason jars, old books and sweet cottage blooms
Sometimes simple is exactly what I am looking for.
For this fireplace mantel which is a super heavy old cast iron antique mantel
that merely leans against the wall in my office
I love vintage inspired simplicity and charm
Several vintage bottles and jars gathered
a few pale books
and those ranunculus that just keep on blooming beautifully even as they are drying
are all perfect together
against the gold frames and the white painted mantel
Simple and sweet
Hope you will stop by and see what they are sharing as well!
