Happy weekend everyone.
Sometimes the weekend just can’t get here fast enough and other times,
the week was kind of like a weekend and you would love to make it last just a bit longer.
I spent a few days in Carmel by the Sea working and playing this week
and I am pretty sure I could have stayed another week without even thinking about it.
Random Saturday posts are all about the week and things I didn’t share on my blog already.
Like a trio of dogs I fell in love with,
Christmas Wedding ideas,
trash to treasure
and the red, white and blue.
Random, I know-
but such is my week over here sometimes.
Starting with that get-away.
With all that white sand, charming storybook houses and staying in the Carriage House Inn who brought breakfast in bed and wine in the evenings- well, it was definitely a nice getaway and I can hardly wait to go back again soon.
Will share much more in a separate post.
#1. Flowers, a beach bag and toes in the sand
Yes, you know I had to do it again.
I mean, the white sand of Carmel beach was calling to me. Plus I had a whole armful of flowers to choose from for the styling-so why not. I loaded up and wandered down to the beach and there you go.
#2. A trio of cuties
I met this trio while wandering around Carmel with my husband.
They were just outside a coffee shop and were so full of character- I had to snap a few photos. This one is my favorite. I know I was boring them after snapping several
but they were so cute to sit for me.
I know, it is June.
It is 100 degrees out.
It is not feeling Christmasy at all-because it is not Christmas time.
But you know me- I. Love. Christmas.
And I am thrilled to be working with Balsam Hill as their blogger ambassador this year and so,
I have been working on Christmas already and I am loving it.
This week, I started out with sharing a couple simple Christmas Wedding ideas.
A simple, elegant table setting with garland and a look at a
frosted tree decorated for a romantic wedding.
You can find both of my posts over at the Balsam Hill Blog
What do you think?
Is this trash- or is it treasure?
My husband said trash- and I said let me see what I can do with it, of course.
You can find the After and How-To
Can you even believe that the 4th of July is next week?
Seriously. Next. Week.
Where in the world has the time gone this month?
I shared some easy, colorful entertaining ideas over on the HomeGoods blogs last week~
and this delicious cake was one of them.
Read more in my 4th of July Entertaining ideas post.
That is about it for this weeks random edition and happenings around town and the net.
See you tomorrow morning with something French inspired
and coming your way next week-
I have something super exciting to share that involves an outdoor party
and getting the look and a month long event!
Stay tuned!
Happy Saturday everyone!
