where there is a bit of this and that and anything else
all together in one little post.
Things like a table styling with black and white.
A box of velvet pumpkins and
a yummy cake that simply had to come home with me.
Black & White
I took a walk on the bold side last week with a styling I did that involved black and white. Something about stripes on the table and topped with white dishes, gold flatware and of course- the most perfect shade of apricot roses- it was bold and beautiful.
Kind of in love with them and a whole box full of them arrived this week from Balsam Hill.
From orange to green to teal to vanilla… and with those real pumpkin stems
they are so cute. I am mixing them in with some of the pumpkins I found last year
and some baby boos- and will share where they landed next week.
Pumpkins & wheat & greens -oh my.
It is starting to look like fall over here more and more each day.
And though I have not found any of those yummy faded Cinderella pumpkins
that are remaining elusive so far this year,
I am joining a great group of bloggers next week for a Fall Home Tour.
A piece for you a piece for me
After a hike in the mountains this week, I ventured over to Whole Foods to see if they might have those shabby pumpkins (they didn’t) but I found a treat instead.
This cake was topped with macarons at Whole Foods but the size & shape
was perfect and so it caught my eye. (bonus- the macarons are delicious)
It is a darling little cake that was perfect for a styling I am working on-
