Happy 4th of July everyone!
It is hard to believe we are already to the 4th of July this year. Zoom. Zoom. Zoom.
With all the renovation projects and literal construction disasters decorating our home right now…
there are no big parties or 4th of July decorating on the agenda here.
But that doesn’t mean I don’t love the red, white and blue –
or have a big bowl of fresh made guacamole on my mind.
So today, I am sharing several last minute simple and fun ideas
for 4th of July decor and nibbles.
Just in case you are having a get together with friends rather
than sawdust, tools and construction.
What can be better than a vintage flag on display to say Happy Independence Day? This is one of my favorite looks and in this post-talking simple. And Red, white and blue. And sharing a bit about my favorite memory on the 4th back.in.the.day.
I am a huge fan of subtle touches and vignettes. Like flags in an old soap bottle on the table and ticking stripe pillows that say Americana in a soft way. In this post- it is all about 5 ideas for simple and easy last minute pops of red, white and blue.
Yep, that sums it up right there. Fresh fruit, pound cake and lemon drizzle? Yes, please.
This is the best delicious and easy last minute dessert that tastes as good as it looks- and speaking of looks- you can make this simply red white and blue for today easily by staying with just strawberries and blueberries.
Have a safe and happy 4th of July everyone!
