Merry and bright in the bedroom.
Sharing our bedroom dressed for the holiday season this year
with a gilded tree and simple vintage touches.
Our bedroom gets just a sprinkle of Christmas cheer each year
and this year- it involves a gold tree.
I shared a close up look at the tree last week- but today, sharing more about the rest of the room.
Like the nightstands… just soft and subtle touches.
The bedding.. vintage inspired crochet on repeat over here.
This is my most favorite bedding I have found in awhile – it adds the perfect amount of texture and charm without overwhelming the room.
And the mantel… soft and subtle.
The bedroom has gotten a bit of a refresh recently…
that might involve a few new elements- but also- an updated arrangement.
The bed and fireplace mantel moved spots and I am loving how the room feels completely different with the fireplace at the end in the peak. And also, how I can now place a proper mirror on top of the extra tall mantel.
On the mantel this season- I kept is simple and pared down.
Just fresh eucalyptus and roses and a few baubles with the gilded candlesticks.
I am really craving more simplicity this year so rather than a big garland-
this was perfect for what I was looking for.
A tiny gilded chest gets just a touch of merry with blush glittered ornaments
and fresh flowers always seeming to be on repeat.
My husbands nightstand is a new favorite.
It has a couple vintage lithographs that were recent thrift store finds and are just a tad wonky which makes me love them even more.
And a few sprigs of greenery for a festive touch.
A closer look at the gold tree- something I love about this one is that it isn’t a tinsel gold
it is an elegant gold that is mostly sprinkled.
So it speaks quietly rather than BAM if you know what I mean. haha.
It really is a pretty tree- I am pretty obsessed with it this season.
Shop the look here: (and they are all on SALE this week)
That is it for today- but stay tuned for more room tours coming your way-along with the little cottage and some outdoor stylings as well
