Welcome to the weekend view.
Something new… that is something old arrived last week.
Something covered in carvings, with the most delicious bleached wood patina and substantial reaching all the way to the ceiling size.
It came from my friends at Eloquence- and is absolutely incredible.
Stay tuned for a proper post showing all the details soon- and also a post about what to look for when shopping antiques and why I chose this piece to bring home.
Grand Dog Watching
Two little grand dogs were in the house for a couple nights this week. I was watching these cuties while my son and his girlfriend were out of town for her birthday. We raced around the yard to catch stray balls and toys and went on long walks. And we basically completely exhausted them in no time.
That is kind of what grand parents do right? 🙂
Apple Blossoms Bloom
Spring has certainly sprung- and the apple tree is completely covered in the most gorgeous blooms.
It gets beautiful blooms every year – but this year it is spectacular.
The other night while relaxing by the fire pit- I snapped a quick evening photo with my phone of the blooms and greenhouse in the distance.

Good morning, Courtney. You are fortunate to have such beautiful grand-dogs! Adorable faces! I, too, have a long-haired dachshund. He is a English cream (beautiful blonde coat) mini. Thanks for posting this picture. You just made my back-to-work Monday morning much happier!

Your Grand Puppies are adorable, Courtney! How much fun you all must have had running around with them this weekend! My husband and I are older and we have a Yorkipoo who helps keep us active. He's a little fellow but we take him on walks and such! We love him dearly!
I'm so pleased you thought to take a photo of the lovely cherry tree with your greenhouse in the background. it's really beautiful and I have saved it to my Pinterest board entitled "A Gentle Nod To Spring"! We don't have a yard but we live in a lovely apartment with many lovely trees around but no cherry trees like yours I'm afraid! Wish we did!
Hope you you a wonderful week, my friend, and may you find much joy in your journey!
