All about inspiration in design and style- and finding pieces, companies and elements you didn’t even know about- that is one of the beauties of going to markets like High Point Market.
There is so much good stuff- all in one area. It is kind of like shopping and finding treasures and discovering new things you love- and then coming home and redoing your space with a fresh perspective.
Today it is all about wrapping up the posts on Market with a day 2 recap. We spend 2 days at Market visiting showrooms and hearing all about what inspires them- and we spend two days snapping a ton of photos and capturing vignettes that inspire each of us.
Interestingly, sometimes we are all focused and taking photos of the same ones- but often times different things speak to each of us. Which just proves again that design is a very personal thing and what you love is what you love.
Day two was full of lots of inspiration and ideas as well- here is a peek of each showroom and what we saw.
Mirrors galore and the most delightful layers of pattern and color on pillows at Howard Elliott
Pops of bright and bold modern and modern twists on classic at Dowel Furniture.
Bold and beautiful and on trend with channel velvet and wood block
The most interesting and functional pieces- I love the bar trunk and how neat it looks in use and just waiting to be used.
And this… so good.
Always charming and in style- just like it has been since making a debut so many years ago- Lloyd Flanders has beautiful woven patio furniture that is as beautiful indoors as out.
This porch swing is a favorite- and love that you can order in so many colors to fit your style perfectly.
I was drawn to the charming little chairs in Pinnacle. They were simple and petite- which is perfect for extra seating.
Loved seeing the collection by Sarah Richardson for Palliser- these chairs were so pretty.
And this bright sunshine dining spot is perfection.
So cute.
And their collection with Cosmopolitan- love this chair
I shared a post all about Made Goods previously- but here are a couple more that caught my eye.
And that wraps up the Spring 2019 Design Bloggers Tour at High Point Market! As always- full of inspiration and new to me pieces that spark ideas.
Coming your way on Monday-a giveaway for you- including my favorite ways to get the garden ready for summer and Memorial Day get togethers.
Also coming your way- a recap of one of my favorite parts of my trip to Europe- Cinque Terre, Italy all about how I packed for 2 weeks with just a carry-on suitcase
Where we saved a ton of money –
and the best tips- including cute boots- for walking over 110 flights of stairs each day in Italy and France.
Yes, indeed. We did.
Happy weekend everyone.

Courtney,Do you buy your furniture from highpoint or is it just a showroom to see new designs?

I love your blog. those two red chairs took my eye. Even the shopper with the safari skirt was impressive. But the bar luggage was special. I think it could be used as a linen closet…..yea I like that idea. Thank I enjoyed my visit.
