Simple, charming and full of ambiance.
Pretty much my motto for autumn decor- and year round decor really.
And today
it is all about the barn- because even barns deserve to be dressed up for the season.
I am excited to be joining my friends who are also sharing their autumn decor today-
and a thank you to Sheila for asking me to join you.
Though I am usually a neutral autumn kind of girl
sometimes I get a wild hair.
And in autumn- that wild hair looks rich and vibrant- like maples reds, muted oranges and yellows.
For the barn this year- I wanted to add that rich color and charm- and started with
one of my favorite bold and beautiful wreaths on the door, added a stack of white and gray pumpkins
and maple trees.
And then I tinkered with it- adding a few more pumpkins as I found those favorite brown ones.
These maple trees are faux- which means you can enjoy that rich autumn color all year long if you want to. They are very realistic- right down the ‘bark’ that looks like bark.
I placed them into buckets for a little extra charm.
This wooden bucket is one I found at Las Vegas Market and is vintage and was the perfect size
for holding that beauty.
This door is on the side of the barn- and opens up to the center which is where we placed the table
and that twinkling chandelier.
The steps are perfect for stacking pumpkins & faux candles on- and on the other side of the building-the small deck /porch area enjoyed a sprinkling of the season as well.
This opens up to a path through the back 40 (so to speak)
and is lit by twinkling string lights.
Simple and sweet- and perfect for autumn entertaining.
