Weekend View

Welcome to the weekend view.

This week it is all about travel, Christmas & some fun coming your way.

Bonjour

I am back home after a couple of weeks in Europe for work and play- if you saw my post earlier this week about the Lentil Soup- you got a peek of Capri and where we stayed for a couple of days.

I will share more about what I was up to soon- and stay tuned for a post this week about the most charming village filled with an amazing antique pop up event every weekend- and also where we went after wrapping up work.

This trip had some travel related chaos- and a storm in Capri that knocked the light power out  to the house we were staying in. But the outlets worked & the neighbors had power. So we knew something wasn't working correct. After trying to get it back on in the middle of the night- a little bit of trouble shooting then next morning fixed the issue.

Christmas trees and twinkles

I am putting up Christmas trees this week- boxes of pretty baubles and loving those twinkles lights.
I am going in a bit of a different direction with colors and styles in some areas this season- but those always on repeat flocked trees and gilded dazzle are coming your way soon.

Balsam Hill Event in Maryland

Coming your way next Saturday- a pop up tree decorating and book signing event in Maryland at Colombia Mall.

I will be in the Balsam Hill store in Colombia, Maryland sharing tips on decorating trees-  and then mingling for a bit of fun and signing books after.  (did you know that there are about 40 pages of holiday decor included in my book? )

Hope to see you there!

The event starts around 12 noon and goes until 3pm
Saturday November 2nd

Balsam Hill

Happy weekend all.
