Welcome to the weekend view
This week it is all about gardening and grand dogs.
Greenhouse Greens
While some plants are going in the garden already- there are also some veggies and citrus trees along with a few warmer weather plants in the greenhouse right now.
Garden project progress
Lots of potting soil and gravel in last week-
we cleared the new garden area and started to get the design in place.
It is a slightly hilly area – and we decided to leave it as it is and just work with sinking the planters as needed to make them level rather than moving a ton of dirt to make the area level.
After they were in place- we brought in pea gravel to start cleaning it up and laying the foundation for the ‘look’ and wrapped everything up Friday evening.
I should have the first look of the new garden up here on the blog this week-
stay tuned for the reveal.
Who let the grand dogs out
We had Cleo and Brawner here for a week while my daughter was on vacation
and yesterday – Jade and Ivy were here for a visit.
It has been a grand dog filled week for sure and with lots of rain – the sofas were wearing drop cloths all week to keep them from getting muddy.
Welcome Spring
I am crushing on this spring basket from my line at Balsam Hill
I have two of these and will share where the other landed soon. Side note- currently all florals at Balsam Hill are 10% off – including this French Market Floral Basket.
I am off to work on a few simple projects inside the house since it is raining cats and dogs currently
and will be sharing a few fun things to do while staying home and away from crowds.
Happy weekend all.
