Can you believe that a new year is just a few days away?
I think it is safe to say we are all ready for a fresh start and new year and hopefully- doing all those back to normal things very soon. Even thought 2020 was a crazy, stressful and overwhelming year – I definitely learned a lot of things this year. And I did a lot of blogging and connected with a lot of you right here. I will save my year end overall re-cap for my 2020 reflections and 2021 dreams post- today it is all about Your favorites.
What posts did you love most in 2020?
So, any ideas which posts were the ones you loved the most? Which ones spoke to you the most or that you got most excited about? Reviewing the year that was and the posts you love gives me ideas for the new year and also lets me know what you love reading about most. I didn’t include the giveaway posts since those are probably a wee bit skewed – but there are definitely themes for the things you loved this year with several posts in each category that made the list. Here they are in no particular order- click the Title of the post to read it.
Top 20 Blog Posts for 2020
Definitely one of my favorites- I was so excited to share all the details and spill the beans about a new book that I had been working on.
Behind the book and inspired entertaining posts were favorites this year- I could probably create a top list of posts just based off of tables and florals in the book.
As always- makeovers and renovations are some of your favorite posts. I shared a couple makeovers this year- and a look back at the house that was when we bought it.
Florals and Mood seemed to be a big theme this year for me. I have definitely been feeling a bit moody in some of the florals and decor changes.
Before and Afters are not a surprise either- you always love to see transformations.
The 12 Trees series was so much fun to do this year! And once again- several of the trees were in the top – picking just a couple to include on the list- but every year – those Christmas posts are some of the most visited on the blog.
Foraged Summer Florals – Blackberry & Hydrangeas
Foraged florals were a big hit this year- and I used them more than ever in our home since I wasn’t wandering the flower market aisles- at all this year. So I got a bit creative in what I could forage & mingle all year long.
More florals from my new book- and how to create them. Maybe we need a floral arrangement and entertaining course in 2021. 🙂
The Behind the Books, Behind the tables, Behind the Florals, Behind the Trees, Behind the method to my madness posts were all some of your favorites.
A favorite floral arrangement- this time all about dried flowers and how to create a bouquet with them- was another favorite.
Another tree- another favorite.
From unique tree stands to glittery garland and more.
So there you have a few of the top 20 posts on the blog in 2020. As you can see, Creating Florals, Book Inspiration, Holiday Decor and Renovations were the top categories.
What do you want to see in 2021? Any requests?
I am working on wrapping up the week over here – a bit slow moving on some busy behind the scenes stuff we are working on- but I can say that if you are one of those who enjoyed those top posts in 2020- the posts we have on the calendar already should be right up your alley.
Stay tuned for a recap post on the 12 trees of Christmas to keep them allllll together in one place as requested, a wintery NYE inspired table idea for ringing in the new year at home- and my end of the year Reflections and Dreams post- along with much more.
Happy week after Christmas all.
