Happy weekend all. It is Friday- and I usually share an older post again or a random tidbit on Friday- but am changing it up a bit this week and sharing a few favorites and what is inspiring me right now.
Fall Inspiration Favorite
How are feeling about autumn decor this year? Colorful or neutral? Or maybe like me- both. I am SO excited for decorating for autumn and I just placed an order for some pretty foliage and other things for decorating. This pop of pretty is all about colorful- and I am using some of these same elements again this season. You can shop these Trees HERE on sale currently.
Cozy Chunky Blankets
I am feeling some of those rich warm moody colors coming this season- and this chunky blanket caught my eye. Loving this pumpkin clay russet color.
But of course, something more neutral is also always a good thing- this gray blanket is beautiful and looks so chunky and warm.
There are a lot of pretty blooms drying up in the garden with all the heat we have had this summer. And of course, that means the garden isn’t looking as pretty as usual with lots of blooms taking over- but it also means looking at another way to enjoy them.
I have been taking those blooms and setting them aside to use in decor. The little roses that look so much like peonies and more are becoming gorgeous dried flowers for the mantel or table stylings. A few favorites to clip and save currently: Roses, sweet peas and yarrow.
I have been searching for some pretty subtle pillows for the seating area and stumbled upon this pretty palette. Melon seems to be a perfect in between seasons and all seasons color. It can lean pastel for spring and summer but also adds a richness for autumn. I am thinking about doing a post all about using this beautiful color for a soft vintage styling – so stay tuned for that. You can find this pillow HERE
8 things for Summer Patio Style
Even though I am thinking about autumn- I am in full on summer entertaining and relaxing mode- and that means- it is all about being outdoors as much as possible.
Summer Fire Pit
A fire pit area is something you can put together and enjoy right now- and keep on enjoying as that autumn chill settles in. I love summer campfire stories and August nights – but once it gets chilly enough to enjoy a fire- I am all about that cozy out under the stars. And you might find me wrapped up in a warm snuggly right here too.
For all the details of this area and tips on how to put together a cozy fire pit spot right now- you can find it all in this post HERE
Favorite of the Week
So what is my most favorite this week? These pretty blooms are talking loudly to me. I clipped them from the garden and created a little bouquet that speaks right to my sweet romance loving heart. The roses are The Ingenious Mr. Fairchild and Eden White- and you can find them both Here
See you soon for the Weekend View- all about the silkies and a little issue we have been having and a little fa-la-la-la-la -ing in the house while adding pumpkins.
Happy Friday all.
