Happy weekend all. I hope your week has been a good one. This week, the weekend view is a mish-mash of randomness.
This week we celebrated our oldest son Ryan and his birthday with a family dinner. We had the usual cake and cheese and crackers board to nibble on- and I enjoyed lots of Juliette giggles and snuggling.
Ry has a fitness business where he does personal training online -and he and Cullan (my second son) work together everyday with filming videos and plans for their clients. And Juliette seems to be enamored with Uncle Cully already.
I promised an updated photo of Juju- she is such a little treasure. She is definitely a wild one- she is pretty busy all the time and she loves to chatter.
This week, our All Dressed Up roses had about 2 dozen buds on them growing and getting ready to open and bloom. I mentioned before that we have security cameras- I check them in the morning to see what wanders through the yard at night- and I saw a family of deer by the roses and greenhouse. And yes indeed- they ate every one of those buds on the 6 roses bushes. I don’t mind sharing but do get a tad cranky when they don’t leave any flowers- though it is our bad since we haven’t been spraying them with the deterrent. Hoping they pop up with a few more buds before it gets too chilly and thinking we might have to extend that greenhouse garden fence around the roses and hydrangeas in this spot.
I was working on a video in the cottage a couple of days ago- and facetimed my daughter so we could make sure that the background and camera placement were correct. She is my assistant and does the video composing and editing work for me. She is also gorgeous & models for various companies and is amazing at doing makeup. So when she complimented my autumn makeup that matched my autumn flowers. I screenshot the video – it is really mostly just good lighting that I had set up for the video and a rosy little sun-kissed September tan glow- but I’ll take it. haha.
Coming your Way
Coming your way tomorrow- a fall floral arrangement with several talented friends.
