I was on another blog and saw the words…"white marble" re: kitchen counters and I had to comment on it. I just remodeled my kitchen and put in carara marble counters (even though everyone told me not to LOL) I absolutely love them. I did use a good quality sealer. You should also know that you can't set extremely hot items on marble. My cabinets are dark and they are a nice compliment to the marble; There is just nothing richer or more elegant!

I can't imagine what you might be doing to your kitchen as it's already quite pretty, cozy and charming. We have such similar tastes including color choices. I've been fazing red out for a while but when I see it used well, like in your kitchen, I fall in love all over again. It's bittersweet for me.

Are you topiary art pieces painted or molded art? I have two pieces that look almost identical to yours. Just curious!

Now, lets chat about this white marble you love….. It would be gorgeous BUT wouldn't you be frightened of staining it when you are chopping….say red onions or blueberries? You'll definitely have to keep us posted. I love marble too. So pretty and I'd never convince my hubby to go for it. I wish you all the luck in the world on that.:)
