I remember when I first met my husband in 1990 and he had been on a Carnival cruise and he had several small ones with handles on them. They were used for drinking from and then you were able to keep them.

I always thought these jars had several uses. I used medium ones filled with colored buttons that I purchased from the thrift store as a display. Also, if you have baby ones you could put crayons in them and bigger ones for pens near the phone.

Sorry, I don't know how to do the link -y thing…but here's a link to my picture of the mason jar after the wedding wrapped with twine. Ha, I do love all kinds of glass. Also have some old milk bottles that I use from time to time to vary the height.

I wrapped some twine around them to add just a little texture…Been loving them after the wedding for holding Daisies. The other little bottles/jars I love are the ones that the Starbucks frapp drinks come in at the grocery store. So cute with a little twine, also, and a single bright flower in each one.
