Simple natural Christmas decor is my favorite. From using fresh sprigs and branches to oranges and berries and pinecones- I love those touches of nature for the holidays. Today I am sharing a couple ideas for using fresh greens clippings that you can do easily- and if you don’t have fresh greens- you can always use faux and get the look too.
Simple Natural Christmas Ideas
Fresh Clippings are such an easy way to add a Christmasy touch and feeling anywhere without overwhelming your space. In my new book, I share several examples of tucking fresh greens on the table, in a basket or on the shelves. For a charming traditional look- mix red and green transfer ware with fresh clipped greens for a lovely accent. This dining room vignette is from my new book French Country Cottage Christmas.

You can use those fresh clippings anywhere you would like. Here are a few inside an armoire. Simply leave the doors open for a beautiful Christmas moment.

Wreath Decor
Wreaths are always wonderful on a door – and inside the house- think outside the door box. A wreath either made from fresh foliage or with fresh foliage tucked into it is a lovely way to bring some of that natural greenery inside. You can display a wreath on the inside of a door, on an armoire or cupboard or even simply on a wall.

I have a DIY for a citrus wreath in my Christmas book as well- so simple and easy to make one of your own.
On the Porch
Bring in some fresh foliage to your porch for a festive welcome. Of course you can use fresh garland and a fresh wreath- but you can also bring in some branches and tie them to lanterns or tuck them inside of urns for even more cheer.
