It would be lovely in your bedroom but equally wonderful in your office. Perhaps holding papers and files? Still love your old chest you are using as a nightstand/dresser in your MBR. It's a twin to a long dresser we brought in from the trash area at the apartments we lived at down in Del Mar when I was pregnant with my now 25 year old daughter Amy. It became her baby dresser/changing table.
