Beautiful!! The rugs are amazing as is the ceiling!!! What a difference those beams make and I can only imagine how it looks when you are in the room. Is that a new coffee table it beautiful. As always love reading your blog. Thank you for doing such a beautiful job.

Your new rugs are beautiful! The only concern I would have with antique rugs is how are they cleaned before your purchase and then how will you maintain them? Does a professional carpet cleaning service clean these rugs, or do they have to be sent away for special cleaning? I also live in a country setting and I have hardwood floors and use the swifer daily……….. I'm always amazed how much dirt comes up and my kids are grown and no animals.

La présence de tapis dans une maison apporte une âme... surtout en cette période de l'année, ils contribuent à notre bien-être.
L'été, lorsque toute la maison est ouverte, nous vivons dehors dedans... Aussi je retire beaucoup d'entre eux. Je les préserve.
J'admire ton magnifique miroir !...
Vas-tu conserver les poutres avec cette couleur ?
Chez moi, j'ai une pièce cathédrale qui a l'origine avait les poutres foncées. l'an dernier je les ai fait céruser en blanc. J'aime beaucoup.

merci pour l'ensemble de ces merveilleuses photos. Je ne suis pas toujours très présente, mais c'est toujours avec un immense plaisir que je visite ton univers dès que c'est possible.

Beautiful rugs! They are hard to find and when I do run across them, they are usually very expensive 🙁 I love the beams you added to your room. They added warmth while accentuating the ceiling height.
