First Day Twice Baked Spaghetti

That second day warmed up leftover spaghetti we all love- but on the first day you make it.

Equipment

  • 1 Casserole dish
  • 1 Saucepan
  • 1 saute pan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb Spaghetti noodles
  • 1 jar Favorite Red Pasta Sauce
  • 1 cup fresh grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup mozzarella or jack if desired
  • 1 cup mushrooms- sliced
  • 1 head garlic- minced
  • 1 onion- chopped
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • 1/4-1/2 cup Olive oil
  • Italian seasoning to taste

Instructions
 

  • Cook your pasta in water as usual. At the same time, sauté the mushrooms, garlic and onions in a pan with a bit of olive oil. In a separate sauce pan- warm up the pasta sauce. Once the sauce is warm- add the mushrooms, onions and garlic to the sauce and set aside.
    Once the pasta is cooked, drain the water and put the pasta into the sauce mixture and saut'e for about 10 minutes. Then pour it all into the casserole dish. Drizzle olive oil over the pasta and then pour the sauce over the pasta and mix well. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese or mozzarella with a bit of Italian seasoning on top ( to your preference)
    Bake for 20 minutes or until cheese is browned. Add pepper (and salt) to taste if preferred. Serve and Enjoy!
