You may remember that my sister in law Olivia owns
a fabulous letterpress studio in Berkeley.
She makes THE most amazingly beautiful cards, stationary, prints, etc.
Last week I gave her a call and was
wondering about getting some business cards made up- in a hurry!
She and I chatted about what I was looking for and
what design would best represent my blog.
I wanted a card that stood out among hundreds.
Something that was unique, pretty & stylish.
Simple & elegant
and
something that said French Cottage
‘ME’.
She came up with this design in just a couple of days and emailed it to me.
The proof was amazing and I loved it right away
but the finished business cards arrived today
and
oh-my-gosh
are they gorgeous!!
It’s hard to tell from my photos- but these are similar to embossed cards
the design is pressed- right down to the pale pink stripes.
Via does all of her printing by hand on old, antique letterpress machines.
She designs her pieces and presses them start to finish herself with the help
of just a couple of friends in the shop.
She is an incredible artist and her work really makes an impression.
LOVING THEM V!!!
Thank you SO much!!
If you are looking for fantastic stationary
postcards, business cards, wedding invitations, etc.
go over and visit Via at Olive Route.
You will love whatever she designs and presses for you.
She has been in MARTHA STEWART
more than once and just pressed for a celebrity client
(who shall remain unnamed for now! )
She has an etsy store with ready to go treasures
but would be happy to do a custom design
for you for whatever you need.
Stop over and say ‘Hi’
&
tell her I sent you!

Love those, Courtney. I have thought about getting cards, too. A lot of times people will ask the name of my blog and it would be great to just hand them a card.
