One of my favorite things to do in the Fall is to host an evening get together.
Nothing super fancy- just a casual dinner with a couple of friends
for an evening of talking, laughing and catching up.
Since the first thing on my mind when it comes to a party is the ambiance… I plan that first
The dishes, the flatware, the glassware, the music, the flowers and lighting.
I know, it’s a little strange that the food comes after all that.
I guess I am a little bit backwards-
but c’est moi. 😉
So as I was planning this years September dinner party
I looked back at a couple of the tablesettings I shared in the Fall last year for inspiration
and thought I would share two of my favorites.

A trip to the Dollar store
inspired this September table with grapevine wreath chargers
My favorite table~
I started with a chunky old table set up at the back of the property,
added lots of roses that were on a major (like 75% off) sale at the grocery store and
yes, I might have been a crazy woman and placed a crystal chandelier in a tree
It was truly magical and I am planning to do this again in the coming weeks
for a special project I am working on.
I have a list a mile long of stuff to do today- but hopefully I will get it all done in time
to snap a few photos to share with you before the guests arrive.
Hope your weekend is off to a great start
Happy Saturday!
