I am all about simple & natural seasonal decor this year.
Lots of pumpkins and pretty little autumn leaves...
And maybe a couple elegant lanterns
and I am calling it good.
I am all about the heirloom pumpkins and squash over here
and simple and natural is pretty much the motto for the season.
The farmers market started the porch on the right foot
with loads of pretty little pumpkins (and some not so little pumpkins)
and with book stylings and more going on... well it was a good reason to overdo the pumpkins
just a bit.
With cabbages and pumpkins on the steps
the only thing missing were a few charming lanterns.
I was so excited to find these huge oversized brass beauties at Joss & Main.
The large one in seriously almost 3'tall and with the old vintage style glass
and detailing-
they were absolute perfection.
I love that the candles are protected inside the glass
which makes them perfect for lining walkways and enjoying outdoors
as well as indoors...
I am loving the simple natural touches with the wreaths on the doors
as well.
These wreaths are made out of preserved leaves
and I am in absolute love with them.
Simple and sweet and natural.
One of the things I love about shopping Joss & Main is that they have amazing pieces
at at great prices. I found similar pieces to what I ordered at another big box store
at almost twice the price.
You can shop the items I used and get the look here:
and don't miss any of my Farmhouse blog friends sharing their porches as well

And you might notice this old porch and these doors which are a new set of old doors.
I am excited to share more- they are from the 1800's and are absolutely incredible.
I cannot wait to get them cleaned up and stripped or painted
for the new porch.
Happy Autumn Decorating everyone!!
Disclosure:
I collaborated with Joss & Main to style this porch
but all opinions and product crushes are my own.
I love how you did the lanterns and the pumpkins. Look so pretty and I like the colors you chose.

Your front porch looks absolutely stunning! Simple can be so elegant and beautiful. I love your new lanterns. They look like antiques. Happy Fall!
ReplyDeleteThose brass lanterns are just gorgeous! It all looks so beautiful, as always.
ReplyDeleteLOVE your fall decor! That first photo...sigh...lol. Fall is my favorite season!!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty, Courtney. The lanterns give the right height by the low pumpkins. I also like the variety of colors in your pumpkin display.

Love how you styled your porch! Those doors are awesome...
ReplyDeleteAll pretty as always. I may be incorrect here, but do you ever do a longer perspective on your photos? They are all small vision close ups which are pretty but a little hard to see the whole idea. Or maybe you do that and I have missed them...
ReplyDeleteGreat question! I do- but not often. I am not allowed to show too much when working on a book - and so have been keeping it mostly to vignettes and smaller shots rather than wide full photography.
DeleteBonjour chère amie,
ReplyDeleteQuelle belle décoration automnale. L'atmosphère que vous avez crée est simplement incroyable.
Merci pour l'ensemble de vos photos.
Gros bisous
I love your beautiful autumn decor! You have styled it so elegantly. I am with you, natural or faux natural decor is my favorite way to decorate for autumn! You've accomplished this beautifully.
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful and inspiring. The lanterns on the porch add a magical touch!
