High Point Market Design Bloggers Tour- day 1

It was a busy busy few days at spring High Point Market in North Carolina  and full of so much inspiration and so many ideas.

I arrived in North Carolina early to do some browsing, shopping and for some meetings ahead of the Design Bloggers Tour which consists of 2 days at Market with a full schedule of stopping in at showrooms and a whole.lot.of.walking.  I played it safe this time with my gimpy ankle- and skipped the heels in favor of my sneakers.

And today I am sharing a peek at each of the showrooms that we visited on day one- and it started with one of my favorites- Universal Furniture.

#1. Universal Furniture

Always beautiful and on trend- Universal Furniture has some of the most lovely pieces - from rustic inspired vibes to decadent and luxurious- and the best is that they also have a wonderful price point which makes this beautiful furniture an affordable luxury.

E.J.Victor

From the first time I walked into E.J.Victor- I have been a huge fan.

I love their traditional yet fresh take on furniture- and they were speaking my language with this raw edge marble coffee table.

The legs are simple almost just there to do the job while making a soft statement- and they let that gorgeous raw edge marble do the talking.

Crypton Fabrics at Lee Industries

Lee Industries is another favorite- with lots of beautiful elegant pieces to choose from. I love their slipcovered look furniture- and as well- their velvet. This time the velvet was on repeat and in such a lovely array of soft subtle colors. These chairs- perfection.

Crypton Fabrics at Hickory Chair

Hickory chair is known for their attention to detail and traditional style. There were several pieces that caught my eye this market- from this sofa designed by Ray Booth - and love those golden velvet pillows

to these beautiful pieces from Suzanne Kasler.

Crypton Fabrics at Vanguard

Give me all the classic blue toile- and on an upholstered piece- even more so. I loved several things in the Vanguard showroom- but this toile was a scene stealer for me.
And the best part is the Crypton Fabric -which means that you can actually enjoy this chair- not worry about dirty hands or messy paws that jump up before you can wipe them off. Their fabric is a performance fabric- and that means that it is stain resistant and does a great job keeping things clean.

Sonder Living

I recently shared a spotlight on Sonder Living and some of their beautiful velvet pieces- and this is another one that spoke to me. I love the dusty blush color and simple lines- it was stunning in person.

Four Hands

Four Hands is a showroom that always has something interesting and unique - and they are definitely on trend with so many things- like gorgeous raw finish wood and buckle leather details. This chair was one that we all found so interesting - and makes a statement from the front and the back.

One of the things that I always enjoy about High Point Market is that you see so many styles and so many different looks for furniture and decor- that even if it is not your style- you notice and can take away a different perspective or appreciate the lines or finish on a chair for example that you may not have otherwise given a second look.

Coming you way next - Day 2 highlights and my top favorites of spring market.

Disclosure:
I was compensated to share my experience at spring High Point Market - but all opinions are my own.
