What is it about a little wicker basket filled with beautiful blooms
that is quintessentially romantic…
Welcoming
Warm
and
Inspiring.
Inspiring.
These roses took my breath away when I found them at the grocery store.
Pretty pale green with ruffly lacy edges and a delightful bright pink center
I tried to resist them- I really did…but they captured my heart
with their sweet colors … and so… they came home with me.
They found their way into a little basket I had
and inspired just a few photos.
and inspired just a few photos.
🙂
I love them in the basket as a welcome for the front door
The pop of pink against the dark backdrop is a favorite look of mine.
The pop of pink against the dark backdrop is a favorite look of mine.
Just laying on the seat of a shabby bistro chair in the corner of the room- love.
They are perfect on this old charmer
sitting quietly surrounded by snow that arrived last week.
This antique bike was at a neighbors yard sale for just a couple dollars.
It is rusty & crusty & all original.
the tires are in bits and don’t roll, the paint is chipping away-
yep- I LOVE it.
My favorite part is the old cracked black and white leather seat.
It’s perfect for a little whimsy in front of a cottage fence
But it needed a little basket…
for flowers, or for wine and bread and dreams of peddling through Italy
😉
I found the vintage inspired wicker bike basket at Kmart a few weeks back.
Love it right away ~and it’s so sweet with those gorgeous inspiring roses set inside.
*sigh*
Perfect
Happy Monday Everyone!
