I was asked recently if there was one thing that I would do, add or take away in a room
if you had a 5 minute warning before unexpected guests arrived.

My answer was to add a bouquet of fresh flowers.
I know that might surprise you… me & flowers-
just kidding!

It’s pretty much well known that I have a HUGE love affaire with fresh flowers.
They warm up and brighten every room they are placed in and seem to welcome you

For day 2 of the Five Days of Spring
I wanted to do something simple and easy and that would take about 5 minutes
to add a bit of Spring to a room.
Here are the elements:
3 potted daffodils
old vintage sewing drawer or simple box
moss
These little daffodils were the perfect size & & price~ just $2.00 each
their bold yellow coloring definitely screams Spring and warms up chilly days.
For the container
I pulled out one of the vintage sewing drawers that I have

*I would not leave them inside the drawer and water them unless you used a liner*
Three little quart sized daffodils fit perfectly inside
and you could also mix and match other bulbs for a different type look.
A bit of moss from our yard covered the tops of the pots
(it grows on the shady areas and is easy to pull up)
but you can use the bags of moss that you find at the craft store just as easily.
Voila!
I am off to see what the other bloggers are up to for this
2nd day of the 5 days of Spring! Loving all the inspiration!!
See you tomorrow!
