Being in California we spend much of our time outdoors
and dining outside is definitely a favorite thing of ours to do.
There is just something about sitting out under the stars & in the fresh air enjoying dinner
It’s a little chilly outside yet- but it’s warming up into the 70’s this week
So I decided on a Spring inspired table for the 3rd day of the 6 days of Spring.
Outside on the patio next to that big old rock fireplace
Dainty vintage silver
paired with old ironstone & vintage Secla white cabbage bowls
are perfect with Countryside beverage glasses
and grapevine chargers
The petite bouquets are in a set of tiny little etched glasses
Not sure what they are for but they were my grandmothers and they are the perfect size for holding
a single rose with a spray of wax flowers waiting to bloom
I love hydrangeas and pink roses
and especially together
so I mixed the two for a full bouquet on the table.
On the bench near the fireplace in the background
you can see a little peek of some of the bulbs blooming
Head on over to visit the other bloggers who I am partying with this week
and see their fantastic Spring Inspirations
See you tomorrow for day 4 of the 6 days of Spring
and Feathered Nest Friday in the afternoon!!

Good heavens, it's so pretty out there…I WISH I could join you!! Don't you sometimes get snow in the winter? It seems like I remember that from past years. xo
Courtney says
Yes- we do get snow here-and actually just got snowed on last week. Thankfully- it melted pretty quickly! 🙂 You probably remember the post I did when we had SO much snow overnight that about 7 of our big old trees broke in half and our pergola collapsed. THAT was a crazy amount of snow for our area.

Lovely and such beautiful photos…wish our snow would go away! Soon I hope.

Oh Courtney…I can almost feel the spring breezes there and smell the earthy fragrance of the woods behind your cottage. 🙂 Lucky you to have 70 degrees this weekend! That's quite a ways away from happening here in MI, so I'll live vicariously through you for now. Thank you for the beautiful breath of spring today! 🙂

Beautiful! Where did you get your chargers and your white ironstone? I love them! Lisa
Courtney says
The chargers are grapevine wreaths from the $ store- and the ironstone was found at the thrift store.

I also love the…well, I love everything, but, when you have a bowl that's not round, I find it just makes the table speak, 'Beauty.'

The colour palette is gentle, elegant with a touch of vibrancy with the yellow daffodils. Your placements are balanced and inviting. You have a future in magazine photography and set arrangements. Such eye candy for lovers of decor!
